Hey folks , Ace courier is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a 5 ton delivery truck . This position requires heavy lifting, excellent customer service skills, and a valid class 5 driver's license.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks
Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues
Qualifications:
Valid class 5 driver's license (CDL)
Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
Ability to lift heavy objects 75 pounds maximum and perform physical tasks as required
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
