Scotia Truck and Trailer Repairs is looking for an experienced Commercial Transport Mechanic. We are located in the Tilbury area of Delta.

The position is full time, up to 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:
Repair automobiles specifically heavy duty trucks and trailers
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Troubleshoot vehicle complaints and perform necessary repairs
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Must know how to weld
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Document all work performed

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience as a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license - Class 1 preferred

Pay: $24.00-$48.00 per hour
