About the Role
I am a self-manager under the Direct Funding program looking for a reliable, punctual, and attentive Care Attendant to assist with daily living routines in my home. I am looking for someone trustworthy who values consistency and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assistance with morning, evening, and bedtime routines, personal hygiene, and dressing.
Mobility: Assistance with transfers, positioning, and bed mobility.
Household Support: meal preparation, light housekeeping, and basic routine care.
Reliability: Punctual arrival for scheduled shifts and prompt communication regarding scheduling.

Shift Availability Needed
versatile part time hours across various shifts:
Morning Shifts: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Lunch Shifts: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Dinner Shifts: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Bedtime Shifts: 9:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Applicants with open weekday or weekend availability to cover multiple daily time slots—or those looking to pick up steady backup/on-call shifts—are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements
Robust reliability, punctuality, and commitment to routine.
Physical ability to assist with transfers and positioning.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow directions closely.




Previous experience in personal care/attendant work preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation & Terms
Hourly Wage: $25.00/hour plus statutory benefits.
Vacation Pay: 4% paid on each paycheque.
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly on Fridays.
