We are looking for a General warehouse / packing room staff to assist with packing orders for on time deliveries in the greater Toronto area. As a warehouse employee you are responsible for various activities related to warehousing, in an workplace compliant with food safety standards and where health & safety is of utmost importance. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for ensuring efficiency and quality in the packing and shipping of products.
Qualification:
High School Diploma
Previous relevant experience in industrial warehousing environment
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Duties:
Pack and fill orders in a timely manner for delivery to our customers in the greater Toronto area.
Prepare product for shipping.
Check all orders for delivery for the customer ensuring the quality and quantity are correct
Develop a working knowledge of inventory.
Operate equipment as necessary, in a safe manner to move product.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Some experience working in a warehouse facility.
Some experience in the Food Industry
CSA approved safety footwear.
Solid attention to details
Safety and quality focused
Read and understand work orders
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
Robust work ethic and positive attitude
