As a Tire Technician, you will work in a fast-paced setting, utilizing both hand and power tools to perform various tire-related services.
Duties
Install, balance, and repair tires on various types of vehicles.
Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tire maintenance tasks.
Assist customers with tire selection based on their needs and preferences.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
Perform heavy lifting as required when handling tires and related equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service area.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting is preferred.
Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot tire-related issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds).
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the automotive field.
Certification in tire service or related fields is a plus but not required.
