Pet Grooming Health & Wellness is a professional dog grooming salon located in Okotoks, Alberta. We are dedicated to providing high-quality grooming services focused on the health and well being of our furry friends. We are expanding our team! We are looking for a responsible individual with a positive attitude, a love and respect for animals, and a willingness to work as part of a team. This is a hands on, physical job with outstanding opportunities top develop current skills and growth!

Duties:
Washing and Drying: Bathe dogs with pet protected shampoo and conditioner, thoroughly rinse and dry dogs using towels and blow dryers.
Basic Grooming: Brush and comb coats before or/and after bathing, remove any minor tangles, trim and dremel nails.
Work Space Maintenance: Clean and disinfect bathing tubs, tables, kennels and tools after each use to keep a sanitary workspace.
Dog Handling & Monitoring: Handle dogs safely and gently, be attentive for signs of stress, injury, or any skin issues during work process.
Team support: We work together as a team! When not working with a dog,



you may be asked to help with other day to day tasks such as greeting clients, receiving dogs for their appointments, assisting with pick ups and drop offs, and other small salon duties as needed.

What To Expect:

This hands on role involves working with dogs of all of breeds, sizes, and temperaments, therefore, applicants must be comfortable and confident working with and handling dogs. The role involves being on your feet for extended periods and may require lifting, bending, and assisting with dogs when needed, as well as working in an environment that can sometimes be busy, noisy, and wet. We value responsibility, patience, a willingness to learn, and someone who is ready to become part of a team!
