Overview

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about mental health. In this role, you will provide patient-centered psychiatric assessments (MSEs, ADHD, IMEs, risk, and capacity) and plan and manage ongoing treatment plans, including medication oversight.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed evaluations, considering developmental, psychosocial, and cultural factors, and integrate findings into individualized care plans.
Initiate, prescribe, and monitor psychotropic medications, including stimulants and non‑stimulant treatment options, and adjust treatment based on clinical response, patient feedback, and safety considerations.
Maintain explicit, timely, and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and ensure all care adheres to regulatory, ethical,



and privacy requirements.

Requirements
Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner qualification and active registration as an NP in Ontario (or applicable province) with authorization to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
Demonstrated experience in psychiatric or mental health care, preferably involving ADHD assessment and psychopharmacology within adult or adolescent populations.
Solid clinical judgment, empathy, cultural competence, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care workplace

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
