SEASONAL CONTRACT POSITION
Scotia Tire Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Tire Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting tires safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate warehouse equipment.
Duties
Safely operate a vehicle to transport commercial tires to designated locations.
Load and unload tires, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving products.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents during transport.
Skills
Solid communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Experience in driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Experience:
Commercial driving: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
Current Brunswick driving license (required)
Canadian PR, Not a work permit (required)
Clean criminal background (required)
