Job Summary:

The role of a Tire Warehouse Order Picker/Picking Machine Operator involves efficiently and accurately selecting tires from designated storage areas using specialized picking machinery. This position contributes significantly to the fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the overall operational efficiency of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating Picking Machinery:
Utilize specialized picking machinery (such as forklifts, cherry pickers, or automated systems) to retrieve tires from allocated storage locations.
Execute picking tasks according to provided instructions and order specifications.
Ensure the secure and proper operation of machinery, always following established safety protocols.
Accurate Order Fulfillment:
Pick tires accurately and verify against order sheets to ensure correct items are selected.
Package and label tires appropriately for shipment, maintaining accuracy in quantities and product details.
Collaboration and Communication:




Collaborate with warehouse team members to maintain an organized storage layout for tires and machinery.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate picking activities and address any concerns or discrepancies. Consistent communication with the dispatch and shipping/receiving areas is paramount to ensuring timely deliveries.
Efficiency and Productivity:
Meet daily picking quotas while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Identify prospects for process improvement to enhance efficiency in the picking process.

All recent hires must have a clean criminal background

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Experience:
Order picking : 3 years (required)
Reach/counter balance lift: 1 year (required)

Language:
Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:
Car to get to and from work (required)
Canadian PR, not a work permit (required)
