Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team at Bizarre Gastro Pub. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and effective kitchen setting, supporting food preparation, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards. Clean Washrooms.
Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff
Support food safety protocols by properly storing ingredients and cleaning work areas regularly
Help with organizing kitchen supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly
Maintain a clean and sanitized work setting in compliance with health regulations
Assist with serving duties when needed,
including setting up dining areas and delivering food to customers
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various cleaning and prep tasks
Qualifications
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation are advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations
Pay: $15.00 per hour
