Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Line Operator with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to operate and monitor production lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting machinery and production equipment and will be comfortable working in a quick-paced manufacturing workplace.

Candidates with an engineering education or technical background are highly preferred.

Duties
Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery and automated production lines.
Set up and change over machines according to production requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure production lines are running efficiently.
Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues during production.
Perform machine adjustments and minor repairs when required.
Monitor product quality and ensure production standards are maintained.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and production equipment.
Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment checks.
Follow production schedules, SOPs, and safety procedures.
Complete production and machine-related documentation accurately.
Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve equipment issues.
Maintain a clean,



organized, and safe work area.
Meet production, quality, and efficiency targets.

Skills
Previous experience operating production machinery or automated production lines is required.
Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify basic mechanical/electrical problems.
Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
Engineering education, diploma, or technical background is highly preferred.
Manufacturing or industrial production experience is an asset.
Ability to read and understand machine manuals, SOPs, and technical instructions.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be comfortable working rotational shifts.
Robust attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
