Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the GTA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role requires experience with preventive and predictive maintenance, CMMS, and spare parts management in a manufacturing workplace.Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturingequipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, andautomation systems. Utilize the CMMS to create, update, and close work orders accurately and ontime. Follow work order discipline and maintenance best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliabilityand reduce downtime. Perform equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they occur. Assist in maintaining accurate asset hierarchies, equipment records, andmaintenance documentation. Support BOM (Bill of Materials) verification and asset-to-spare-part mapping. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure data quality within theCMMS. Support spare parts inventory management by identifying required parts andreporting stock shortages. Help improve inventory accuracy and parts standardization. Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to minimizeequipment downtime. Follow all health, safety, food safety,
and quality standards.Required Qualifications Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance,Electromechanical, or a related trade.Intended for internal use within the organization. Unauthorized disclosure may cause minor to moderate impact. Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A/309A) or Millwright (433A) is considered an asset. 2 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Food & Beverage, CPG, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, or otherregulated manufacturing is preferred. Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Experience using CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, Fiix, or similar). Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, andhydraulic systems. Ability to read electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, and equipmentmanuals. Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Knowledge of spare parts management and maintenance inventory processes. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
