We are seeking a skilled embedded software developer with experience in BSPs and secure bootloaders. The projects the candidate will work on include infotainment, connectivity, and other hardware modules in the next generation of vehicles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in the design and development of BSP (Linux/QNX) and bootloaders
- Proven C and assembly language experience
- Must have experience completing at least 2 board bring-ups
- Capable of reading electronic schematics
- Knowledge of embedded OS (Linux, QNX)
- Skilled in using debugging tools like JTAG and the oscilloscope/logic analyzer
- Driver development experience (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN/CAN FD, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and intuitive debugging skills
- Detailed knowledge of ARM processors (A series, M series)
- Experience with eMMC
- Experience with NAND, NOR memory controllers
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. SVN, Git)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Linux: Understand OS/Kernel internals including memory mapping, file system, device tree
- Experience in device driver design/implementation
- Extensive low-level C programming/debugging experience (assembly is a plus)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BSPs and secure bootloaders for next-generation hardware modules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components
- Utilize debugging tools to troubleshoot and resolve software issues
