Duties
Process and record incoming payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue invoices and follow up with clients via phone or email
Reconcile customer accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
Generate detailed invoices, statements, and account analysis reports for internal review and client communication
Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure consistency across financial records
Maintain organized records of all transactions, payment histories,
and correspondence for audit readiness
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to billing, payments, or account status with professionalism and clarity
Experience
Proven experience working as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft is essential
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and discrepancy resolution
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and written correspondence
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic math skills for financial calculations
Previous experience in financial services or related industries is a plus
