Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles using schematics and technical manuals
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to identify issues and determine appropriate repair strategies
Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move parts or equipment safely within the shop environment
Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and documentation for all work performed
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process
Experience
Proven mechanic experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment
Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
Hands-on experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or parts handling
Prior experience working with automotive repair software or diagnostic tools is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
