We are seeking a Licensed Collision Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess solid mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive collision repair, with the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various power and hand tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Disassembly and Repair Planning: remove damaged parts and plan the best course of action for the repair or replacement.
Body Repairs: Straighten bent frames, replace or repair damaged panels and ensure proper alignmnet.
Welding & Fabrication: Use welding and cutting tools to repair metal components and panels.
Panel Replacement & Fitting: Install new body panels and other components.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Document all services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
Technical Skills: Knowledge of auto body repair techniques, welding, sanding and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using mechanical tools and equipment is required.
Ability to lift heavy objects as needed during repair processes.
Knowledge of Safety Standards
ICar Certification
AutoBody Repair License
