Safely handle, restrain, identify, sex, weigh, transfer, and prepare mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other assigned species.
Participate in research studies in compliance with approved protocols, Positive Laboratory Practices, SOPs, and animal-welfare requirements.
Perform authorized oral and parenteral dosing, including oral gavage and intraperitoneal, intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injections.
Assist veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and researchers with animal examinations, treatments, procedures, and post-procedure monitoring.
Collect authorized blood and urine specimens using approved, species-appropriate techniques, including rodent jugular vein collection, intravenous, cardiac, and abdominal-aorta blood collection.
Label, process, store,
and transfer specimens according to study protocols, GLP requirements, biosafety procedures, and chain-of-custody standards.
Accurately document animal observations, dosing, procedures, specimen collection, equipment checks, inventory, and study data.
Follow PPE, biosecurity, biosafety, sharps, chemical-safety, and controlled-access facility requirements.
Provide weekend, statutory holiday, and after-hours coverage as scheduled or requested

Pay: From $25.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40.0 per week
