Valley Home Improvements is looking for an experienced construction worker to join our team. We work on a wide variety of residential construction projects, including renovations, additions, custom homes, decks, garages, siding, roofing, windows and doors, and interior finishing.
This position is a outstanding fit for someone who has residential construction experience and enjoys working alongside a team to complete a variety of projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work alongside team members on residential construction projects
Complete framing, exterior and interior construction tasks
Install siding, soffit, fascia, windows and doors
Assist with roofing, decks, additions and renovations
Complete demolition and preparation work as required
Measure, cut and install building materials accurately
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Follow project plans and instructions
Work outdoors in different weather conditions
Keep job sites clean, organized and safe
Who We’re Looking For
2–5 years of residential construction experience
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Good understanding of residential construction
Able to complete assigned construction tasks with minimal supervision
Able to work well as part of a team
Dependable with a robust work ethic and positive attitude
Takes pride in doing a job properly
Comfortable with physically demanding work
Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
