Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Occupancy Technician/Site Laborer to join our team. Reporting to the Site Supervisor of a multi-family property developer, the Pre-Occupancy Technician/Site Laborer will provide ongoing support by:
Being familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures and ensuring company health and safety policies and practices are followed on site.
Being capable of working with minimal supervision but willing to follow directions closely.
Regularly inspecting and monitoring the completion progress of each unit at the finishing stages.
Documenting identified deficiencies.
Effectively communicating deficiencies in a timely manner to appropriate trade partners for correction.
Scheduling the deficiency work rectification and following up to confirm satisfactory completion.




Inspecting installed finishes to confirm they are functioning as intended (eg. plugs, light switches, bulbs, thermostats).
Ensuring daily cleanup by trades and employees
Moving materials and equipment as directed by Site Supervisor

Skills/Qualifications:
Previous experience in a multi-family construction setting preferred
Basic carpentry skills an asset

Working Conditions:
Capable of lifting 50lbs.
PPE required
Weather exposure

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
