· In town work
· Signing bonus. TBD on credentials and probation.
· Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings
· Interpreting Canadian Electrical Code
· Layout conduit runs and pipe fill
· Communicate with co-workers, site supervisor and customers both verbal and written
· Use multi-meter for testing and troubleshooting when required.
· Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment
· Understanding of how different electrical systems work
· Time management and organization skills
· Knowledge of mathematics and basic calculations
· Ability to continuously learn about trends in the electrical industry
· Leadership and teamwork
· Creativity
· Inspecting and maintaining existing electrical systems
· Ensuring that electrical system in buildings (residential, commercial, and industrial)
comply with local electrical codes and safety standards
· Provide preliminary planning, sketches, and estimates for installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems
· Follow and promote all safety rules and guidelines
· Fill out timecards daily
· Sign into Corfix daily to complete all required forms
