Ten Thirty Construction is a growing residential contractor known for our quality work and excellent service. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Casual Construction Helper to support the team on various projects.

This is a casual on-call position, with the potential to grow into part-time or full time. This is a perfect role for someone looking for flexible hours that work around another schedule, or for someone wanting to gain more hands-on construction experience. Students are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

As a Construction Helper, you'll be the backbone of our team. Responsibilities include:
Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials (like lumber, drywall, tools, and debris) around the job site.
Assisting the team with their tasks.
Keeping the job site clean and organized by sweeping, removing garbage, and stacking materials.
Operating basic hand and power tools (under supervision if necessary).
Performing site setup and teardown tasks (e.g., setting up safety barriers, tarps).
Following all site safety rules and procedures without exception.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is dependable and ready to work.

Must-Haves:
Extremely reliable and punctual.



When you accept a shift, we count on you to be there on time.
Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks, including:
Lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
Standing, bending, crouching, and walking for extended periods.
A positive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn.
Able to follow directions carefully and work independently when needed.

Nice-to-Haves (Assets, but not required):
Previous experience in construction, or general labour.
Skills in painting, drywall, flooring installation, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (as job sites may vary).
Basic familiarity with hand or power tools.
