We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming workplace for all guests. This role involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this dynamic role.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions
Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Handle cash, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using basic math skills
Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts




Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and qualified manner
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods

Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Robust customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Ability to serve customers courteously and professionally at all times
