Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a solid commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties
Safely transport construction equipment and gravel using Class 1 vehicles (lowboys, end dumps, or similar)
Load and unload heavy machinery with care and in compliance with safety procedures
Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation regulations
Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to ensure timely deliveries
Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
Assist with securing loads properly using chains, binders, and tarps as needed

Requirements




Valid Class 1.
Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Experience with automotive repair is a plus.
Solid understanding of freight handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
