Job Type:Full Time, Permanent (Day Shift)Wage:$24.00/hourlyIEM Canada is seeking experienced and hard-working individuals to join our team as Metal Fabricator.ResponsibilitiesRead, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to fabricate quality metal partsSet up and operate fabricating machines, such as press brakes, CNC punch press, shears, cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or prepare metal parts for productionUse multiple measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers tee square, machinist square and tape measure to accurately and precisely perform workPerform metal corrections such as grinding, buffing, polishing and deburringComply with all safety, quality work rules, guidelines and regulationsSet up, test, operate and maintain fabrication tools and equipmentKeep the supervisor informed of problems,



progress and suggestions in a timely mannerAlways maintain a secure and clean work environmentKeep red-lines and mark ups of any drawing changes required during manufacturing and turn into supervisor upon their requestPerform other duties which may be required by the supervisorQualified candidates must possessAt least 2 years of experience using CNC fabricating machines (Experience with Amada Preferred)Safely use material handling equipment such as rolling carts and pallet jacks (Valid Forklift license is preferred)Mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently bend, squat, crawl and climbAbility to work quickly with your hands while maintaining accuracy and high qualityStrong work ethic and motivation to learnMust be a team playerPhysical DemandsLifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbsBending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climbVision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed itemsMental DemandsInterpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.EnvironmentShop/warehouse.
