Project Coordinator/Estimator A well-established residential custom home builder in the Greater Victoria area is growing their team and looking for a Project Coordinator/Estimator to join them. They are well known for building high-quality, modern, West Coast-inspired, energy-efficient custom homes, and are looking for someone who shares their values of transparency, trust and exquisite client care.

This role blends project coordination with estimating. You'll work closely with the Project Management team to support planning and execution across active projects, while also taking ownership of cost estimating and bid preparation for upcoming work. This role is a strong fit for someone equally comfortable with the numbers and the coordination side of a build.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for residential construction and renovation projects

Source and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes to support competitive, accurate bids

Contribute to the creation and management of project scopes, timelines and budgets

Support monthly budget reconciliations and prepare client reports

Coordinate project schedules and communicate updates to clients throughout the project lifecycle

Assist in preparing and executing contracts and tender packages

Coordinate procurement of tools, equipment and materials as needed

Participate in weekly team meetings to support project and company controls, communication and safety processes

Job Requirements:





At least 4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Estimator, or similar role in residential construction

Strong understanding of construction costing, takeoffs and the bid process

Robust math abilities and comfort working with numbers day to day

Experience with cost-plus contracts an asset

Red Seal Carpentry ticket an asset

Aptitude for spreadsheets and cost tracking tools

Proficient in Google Workspace, familiar with project management or estimating software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively

Hourly Wage:

$72,000 + (Permanent Full Time)

Work Shift:

Mon-Fri, 40 hour work week, office-based role
