Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is cooked safely, properly seasoned, and presented attractively
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and equipment
Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene
Assist with food service by plating dishes efficiently during busy hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service and uphold restaurant standards
Requirements
Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations in a restaurant setting
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning current skills
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, sanitation practices, and food industry standards
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
