Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards
Maintain facilities by inspecting for repairs needed and reporting issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, or structural components
Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and sanitized regularly to promote hygiene and safety
Follow safety protocols during cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces or meeting rooms as needed
Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and supply inventories
Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within commercial or institutional settings
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks or assist maintenance staff when required
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
Effective communication skills to report issues clearly and follow instructions precisely
