Duties
Process and record incoming payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Manage accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately entered and updated
Perform account reconciliation to verify balances and resolve discrepancies
Follow up with clients regarding overdue invoices through skilled negotiation and phone etiquette
Maintain detailed records of transactions, adjustments, and collections for audit purposes
Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure proper account management
Assist with data entry related to customer accounts and payment histories
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
Analyze account data to identify trends or issues affecting receivables and suggest improvements
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial analysis
Experience with accounts receivable management, account reconciliation, and account analysis
