About the Role
As an Optometry Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play an important role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly. You'll assist with administrative tasks, patient care, appointment coordination, and support our optometrists with day-to-day clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
Assist with pre-testing and basic diagnostic procedures (training provided if needed).
Keep the clinic organized and maintain accurate documentation.
Use AI tools to improve workflow, communication, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable with computers and learning new software.
Attention to detail and a positive, patient-focused attitude.
Previous experience in an optometry, medical, or healthcare clinic is an asset but not required.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an asset.

Pay: $34,500.00-$39,000.00 per year
