Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming workplace for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure a positive experience for our customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM 5.45 AM IN THE MORNING S. MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH. Please do not apply if you don’t meet the criteria. Tips will be distributed monthly.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately
Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and preparation
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner




Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving snacks or light meals
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and food safety protocols

Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a rapid-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
