Breakfast Cook

Location: The Cozy Café + Bar – Downtown Kelowna, BC
Job Type: Part time / Permanent
Pay: $20–$22 per hour (depending on experience)

About Us

The Cozy Café + Bar is a busy, locally owned breakfast and brunch restaurant in downtown West Kelowna. We are passionate about serving fresh, high-quality food and creating an exceptional experience for every guest. We're looking for an experienced Breakfast Cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing consistently excellent food.

Responsibilities
Prepare breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Set up and stock stations before each shift.
Ensure all food is cooked, plated, and presented consistently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Monitor food quality and minimize waste.
Restock ingredients and assist with daily prep.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
Assist with cleaning duties and kitchen closing tasks as required.

Qualifications
Minimum 1 years of cooking experience in a quick-paced restaurant.




Experience preparing eggs, omelettes, benedicts, pancakes, waffles, skillets, and other breakfast dishes.
Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Schedule
Monday to Friday ( Part time) 9:30 am to 1 pm and 2 full shifts from 7 am to 3 pm
Day shifts only
