We are seeking a skilled and motivated Skidsteer/Mini Excavator Operator and Landscaping Labourer to join our construction and landscaping team in. This full-time position involves operating heavy equipment, performing various landscaping tasks, and supporting site development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy machinery, a strong work ethic, and a focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities
Operate skidsteer loaders, mini excavators, and other heavy equipment with precision and safety.
Assist with excavation, grading, paving, and site preparation activities.
Various Landscaping/hardscaping labor tasks
Perform landscaping tasks including planting, soil preparation, mulching, and site cleanup.
Support construction activities such as material movement, site leveling, and trenching.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work setting.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Assist with horizontal drilling and other specialized construction tasks as needed.
Skills
Proven experience with minimum 3 years experience mandatory operating heavy equipment such as skidsteers, excavators (including Caterpillar models), etc.
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
Ability to perform construction-related tasks with attention to detail and safety standards.
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is a plus for transporting equipment or materials.
Robust understanding of construction processes and site safety protocols.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials when required.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour
