Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires a robust understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment based on customer specifications.
Load and unload products from delivery trucks and warehouse shelves.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes to move materials safely.
Maintain an organized work area to ensure efficiency in order picking and shipping processes.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.
Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly documented.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills




Previous experience in warehouse distribution or management is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Proficient in order picking techniques and best practices.
Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks safely.
Robust understanding of shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory is beneficial.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Order picking : 3 years (required)
Reach/counter balance lift: 1 year (required)

Language:
Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:
Vehicle to get to and from work (required)
Canadian PR, not a work permit (required)
