Role Overview

As an Owner Operator contracted with the Seaport Group, you will be responsible for representing Seaport in a positive manner, ensuring that you carry out your duties safely, ensuring compliance with health and safety and hours of service regulations at all times.

Your role will mainly consist of picking up containers from local terminals and rails followed by delivering to various customer locations.

Key Accountabilities
Operate in a safe and compliant manner at all times
Solid focus on on-time performance, in line with company expectations
Communicate with operations leaders and the dispatch team as directed
Maintain and provide the Company with all required documentation,



licensing and insurance as required to operate as an independent contractor.

About You
You have a strong attention to detail and a transparent understanding of driver compliance
You are reliable and self-motivated to work in a secure manner
You are comfortable using technology including tablets and related applications

Qualifications
Valid Class AZ license with a clean abstract and Monitoring of Heavy Vehicle Driver Conduct document
Truck year 2017 or newer is strongly preferred
Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
Experience with containers is preferred
