We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Helper / Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will assist carpenters on residential projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Assist carpenters with construction, installation, and general site work
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and cleaning
Assist with interior and exterior painting tasks
Load, unload, and move materials and tools on site
Maintain a clean and secure work workplace
Follow instructions from site supervisors or lead carpenters
Perform basic hand tool and power tool tasks as required
Requirements:
Previous construction, carpentry,
or painting experience is an asset
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety practices is an asset
Valid driver’s license preferred
Wage will be dependent on candidate's experience.
Medical and dental advantages available after one year with the company.
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
