About the Role
The Bottle Sorter job duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing excellent customer service at the front stations while counting containers brought in by customers
Clean station and front counting machines
Remove garbage bags from front area when full
Sort and count containers in the back of depot and mezzanine when customer area is not busy
Tag and stack bags
Remove and count glass from conveyor
Drive forklift to stack mega bags (not required)
General housekeeping/sweeping
Drive 16ft cube van to pick up bottles from residential and commercial customers (not required)
Role Requirements
Must be able to work on weekends
Must have valid class 5 drivers license with at least 3 years experience (commercial driving experience preferred)
Positive communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High level of physical stamina and endurance for long hours of standing
Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must speak English Fluently
