We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Construction Lead Hand to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and assist with the execution of landscape construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and productive project delivery. Your leadership will help guide a team of skilled workers, coordinate tasks, and maintain safety standards across all job sites. Responsibilities
Help with daily operations on landscape construction sites, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications
Assist with the installation of irrigation systems, gardening features, and other landscape elements
Coordinate with team members to assign duties, monitor progress, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Maintain a safe work setting by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections
Support the training and mentoring of crew members to improve skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction techniques
Ensure quality control by inspecting work at various stages of completion and making necessary adjustments
Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project timelines and expectations
Skills
Proven experience in landscape construction, gardening, horticulture, or related fields
Robust supervisory skills with demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance techniques
Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles
Construction experience including site preparation, planting, hardscaping, and finishing work
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail
