We are seeking a motivated and skilled Site Welder - Steel Installer to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding and installation of steel structures in office, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of large and small-scale projects. Duties
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute welding and installation tasks
Perform SMAW welding to join steel components with precision and durability
Use hand tools, power tools to assemble steel parts according to specifications
Operate cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment safely for rigging and positioning heavy steel structures
Assemble steel frameworks, ductwork, or other structural elements following schematics and engineering guidelines
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine equipment checks

Requirements




Proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments with a focus on steel installation or welding projects
Proficiency in MIG and SMAW welding techniques with the ability to produce high-quality welds
Robust mechanical knowledge including rigging, machining, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, plasma cutters, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment safely
Familiarity with welding certifications preferred but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is a plus
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication and assembly tasks
Knowledge of ductwork installation and general construction experience highly desirable
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Valid driver’s license or certification for operating machinery such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
