Job Summary

A growing automotive manufacturing organization in Scarborough, ON is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a direct hire prospect. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering professional with deep manufacturing experience, strong process improvement skills, and a background supporting exhaust systems, metal forming, welding, and production equipment.

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in developing, reviewing, improving, and validating manufacturing processes that support high-quality, cost-effective production. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment improvements to support smooth transition into production.
Provide engineering support to production teams in packaging, metal cutting,



tube bending, MIG welding, resistance welding, rolling, and related manufacturing processes.
Lead continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost structure.
Support commissioning, validation, and optimization of new equipment and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with product design, production, vendors, and cross-functional teams on DFM/A reviews, feasibility analysis, customer issues, and new product development.
Assist with cost estimates for quoting purposes and contribute to strategic product and process road map discussions.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
