Own origination for a current platform with institutional-grade capital relationships already in place, and no legacy book to defend.
Report directly to the founding partners, with a direct line into every credit and strategy decision.

Responsibilities
Source, structure, and underwrite commercial mortgage financing across multi-unit residential, industrial, office, retail, seniors housing and long-term care, self-storage, hospitality, and land and development.
Originate across the full product set — term, construction, bridge, conventional, and CMHC-insured — including MLI Select eligibility and optimization strategies.
Build and own borrower and intermediary relationships; represent BLP with banks, credit unions, life insurance companies, pension funds, private lenders,



and family offices.
Lead deal execution end to end: LOIs and term sheets, underwriting models, due diligence, credit submissions, and loan summaries through to funding.
Prepare and present financing options with comparative analysis so clients can be put into the best position possible
Monitor covenants, DSCR, and construction draws post-funding; manage borrower KYC and AML requirements.
Contribute to building the firm's underwriting standards, deal templates, and CRM discipline from the ground up.

Pay: $125,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
