Duties
Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools and blueprint specifications
Install insulation on pipes, ducts, tanks, and mechanical equipment following project plans and safety guidelines
Apply caulking around insulation joints and seams to ensure airtight seals and prevent leaks
Use hand tools such as knives, saws, and trowels to prepare surfaces and secure insulation materials
Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation specifications and installation procedures
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring proper fit and finish of insulation systems
Maintain a clean work workplace by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Skills
Proficiency in caulking techniques for sealing insulation joints effectively
Experience with hand tools used in insulation installation and construction tasks
Strong construction background with knowledge of building codes and safety protocols
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
Familiarity with drywall installation processes is a plus for integrated projects
Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing at heights
