We are V&J; Plant Shop, a busy flower shop located in the Granville Island Public Market. Established 45 years ago, we are a family owned and operated and looking to add an experienced Florist to our team!

Applicants should:
Have a minimum 2 years retail flower shop experience. We are looking for a team member who has existing floral design skills as they will be responsible for fulfilling orders and maintaining our bank of grab-and-go arrangements.
Be comfortable working in a rapid paced environment. We are a high volume workplace and applicants must be comfortable designing quickly and efficiently.
Be able to provide outstanding customer service! As well as their other duties, applicants will be responsible for assisting customers in the store and over the phone. Proficiency in English is required.
Be interested in long term, full time employment. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable and invested in a career in floral design.




Have a positive attitude and work well in a team. All staff members are required to participate in the overall maintenance of the shop including cleaning, sweeping, watering, and organizing our displays.
Be comfortable on their feet for an 8 hour shift and capable of lifting 50+lbs. We are open 7 days/ week from 9am-7pm so candidates with open availability will be most seriously considered.
