Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the farm premises to monitor for security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual activity during overnight hours
Perform visual inspections of fences, gates, and stalls to ensure structural integrity and security of horses and equipment
Operate RTV
Handle heavy lifting for tasks such as moving feed bags, hay bales, shavings bags or supplies around the farm
Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents on the farm by notifying appropriate personnel and taking initial action if necessary
Keep detailed logs of nightly activities, inspections, maintenance work,



and any incidents for record-keeping purposes

Skills
Extensive knowledge of horse care and wellness such as colic, lameness, injury
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols
Keen observational skills to identify potential safety issues or security concerns during patrols
Physical stamina and alertness to work long night shifts in an outdoor environment under varying weather conditions
Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately to team members or supervisors
A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, security, and operational efficiency
