We are looking for Counterbalance Forklift Operator – Mississauga

Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: Afternoon – 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Position Type: NOC-B

About the Position

We are currently hiring an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in Mississauga.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, where there may be robust manufacturing smells and hot temperatures. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable working in an industrial setting and can follow all workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift




Move and transport materials within the manufacturing facility
Load and unload materials as required
Follow all health and safety procedures
Complete daily forklift inspections
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Assist with general warehouse/manufacturing duties as required

Requirements
Previous counterbalance forklift experience required
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset
Comfortable working in hot conditions and around manufacturing smells
Strong safety awareness
Reliable and punctual
Able to work Monday to Friday
Must be available for morning training(6.30am- 2.30pm) before transitioning to the afternoon shift (2.30pm- 10.30pm)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
