Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation, cash handling, and customer engagement while working in a vibrant, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving food items and maintaining product freshness
Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and cashiering procedures




Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe setting for staff and customers

Qualifications
Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to operate POS systems, including Micros POS, efficiently
Valuable time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
