Duties
Efficiently pick, pack, and load customer orders using order picker equipment and heavy machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Load and unload incoming shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with heavy lifting techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain safety standards by conducting regular inspections of equipment like forklifts and cranes, and adhering to heavy equipment operation guidelines.
Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, preparing documentation.
Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock locations, managing inventory flow, and ensuring timely order picking.
Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
Qualifications
Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English
Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with knowledge of warehouse management systems.
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts beneficial but not required
Demonstrated ability in order picking techniques with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly.
Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse or distribution workplace.
Construction or industrial experience is a plus for understanding heavy load handling and safety procedures.
Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
