Alta Tube and Bar Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Worker / Saw Operator

ABOUT US:

Alta Tube and Bar Inc. is a leading Canadian based Steel Tube and Bar metals distributor in Edmonton.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for cutting steel products, using an overhead crane to move material, and load/unload trucks. The person must be able to provide attention to detail and work at a fast pace.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

· Shipping / Receiving

· Able to lift up to 50/lbs

· Load and unload Trucks

· Saw operations and standard maintenance.

· Overhead Crane operation

SKILLS:

· Highly motivated and can handle quick paced environment.

· Multitasking

· Attention to detail in every aspect of the job.

Asset – worked in a warehouse setting.

Asset- Can work in team workplace

Asset- can use tape measure in imperial/metric

Must have Steel Toed Boots with Metatarsals
