Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring payments are reviewed, coded, and processed accurately and on time.

· Prepare and process weekly unionized payroll with accuracy and in accordance with established requirements.

· Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, employees, and other stakeholders by phone and email.

· Support job costing and other construction-related accounting activities.

· Assist with general office and administrative duties as required to support effective operations.

· Maintain accurate records and contribute to an organized, productive office setting.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience.

· Experience in construction accounting and job costing is considered an asset.





· Proficiency with accounting software; experience with SAGE 300 is considered an asset.

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

· Excellent attention to detail and a solid commitment to accuracy.

· Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $32–$35 per hour, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
