On behalf of our client, an Automotive Tier 1 supplier of machined components, we are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist with robust HR law, Health & Safety and other workplace regulations experience within a manufacturing workplace. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for driving HR activities in the automotive manufacturing environment.
The HR Generalist's expertise will enhance employee experience and HR efficiency.

In this position, HR Generalist will support all HR functions while ensuring compliance with Ontario Employment Standards and other workplace related legislation. The HR Generalist will manage recruitment, assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, and handle essential HR processes to maintain a positive workplace culture. This is an chance to shape employee engagement and improve HR practices in a multi-faceted environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for all HR-related queries




Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Monitor attendance and support absence management
Facilitate training programs and performance reviews

Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is required
3–5 years HR Generalist experience in manufacturing is a must
In-depth Knowledge of relevant Workplace legislation (including ESA, WSIB, OADA and Occupational Health & Safety requirements)
Experience with shift-based workforce management
CHRP designation or in progress is highly preferred
JHSC certification is a plus
Must be located in the Windsor area

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
