Job Summary

We are looking for a Compactor Technician – Electro-Mechanical to join our team. This position is suitable for candidates with mechanical experience as well as recent college graduates and newcomers to Canada who are interested in building a career in the industrial equipment and maintenance field.

Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair compactors and related equipment.
Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
Work with hydraulic systems, power tools, and hand tools.
Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with equipment servicing.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting when required.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements
Mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn.




Knowledge of hydraulic systems is an asset.
Experience or familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
Basic electrical knowledge is an asset.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
Valuable problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work safely in a hands-on setting.
Previous experience as a technician is an asset, but training may be provided to the right candidate.

We are willing to provide training and support candidates who are recent to the industry.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
